Seneca County CVB releases summer calendar

 

The Seneca County Convention & Visitors Bureau has released the new summer calendar of events for June-August 2008.

 

For years, the CVB has compiled and distributed a community calendar to help enable residents and visitors to take part in the unique events in the county. The calendar information also is made available to media and is placed on the CVB website.

 

Event planners wishing to have an event included in the upcoming fall calendar may submit the event information in writing to the Seneca County Convention & Visitors Bureau at 114 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883 or email it to visitor@senecacounty.com by July 1.

 

However, events must be open to the public in order to be included. Event information may be edited and space is limited.

CRYSTAL TRADITIONS’ SUMMER OPEN HOUSE

 

Text Box:             Venture into the enchanting world of glass making at Crystal Traditions’ Summer Open House on Saturday, June 28th, from 10AM to 5PM and Sunday, June 29th from 11 AM to 4PM. Crystal Traditions is located at 145 Madison Street in historic downtown Tiffin, Ohio.  Watch Adam Cramer, Master Gaffer, create works of art from molten glass.  Aidan Scully, Master Brilliant Cutter and Designer, will demonstrate crystal wheel engraving and tell guests about creating an intrigue form of art.

Text Box:             The 2008 Limited Edition ornament will be introduced this weekend.  The ornament is hand blown and hand cut by the artisans.  Each year’s design is issued in a limited single edition, signed and numbered by both artisans.

Text Box:             Discover the magic of glass at the Tiffin Glass Collectors Show and Sale held the same weekend at the School of Opportunity, 780 East Seneca County Road 20.  Show hours are 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday.  The $3.00 admission is good for both days.  The building is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible with plenty of parking.
