	History of Seneca Sprockets Bicycle Club 1985 ... Phi Theta Pi fraternity from Tiffin University sponsored the 1st Heritage Bicycle Tour as a fund raiser. 1986-87 ... Three individuals sponsored the 2nd and 3rd Heritage Bicycle Tour for the purpose of making a profit. 1988 ... The Seneca Sprockets Bicycle Club then was organized and sponsored the 4th Heritage Bicycle Tour. The club continues to sponsor the Tour. The Club was incorporated, as a nonprofit organization on August 17, 1990 for the following purposes: To promote, encourage and foster the use of the bicycle as a mode of transportation for both vocational and recreational purposes. To organize group bicycling events including family rides and community riding events. To promote and encourage bicycle safety. To promote and encourage the designation and construction of bikeways, bicycle trails and other bicycling facilities.
