The Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve is a 292 acre natural area which

The land for
this park (256 acres) was donated to the district in 1999 by Doctor Olgierd
Garlo and his daughters, Alma and Dolly, to honor the memory of their
parents, Doctors Olgierd and Maria Garlo. Since then an
additional 36 acres were purchased by the park district using Clean
Ohio Funds and another donation from the Garlo sisters. It is managed and maintained by many volunteers under the
direction of manager Dan Mason.

Garlo Preserve is located at 5777 South State Route 19, Bloomville,
Ohio 44818 in Bloom Township. It is 1.7 miles south of Bloomville, OH on
the east side of the highway..
